I like cowman*, he is decent manager, prob the 5th or 6th best Saints manager we’ve had in the last 10 years. Easily top 10, in any case.

Now Le tissier on the bbc saying he’s gone for the money etc. They really do think they’re something special. We don’t think that we’re a massive club, we used to be when we were winning leagues when I was a young kid, and thankfully it looks like we’re starting to show some ambition to get back up there. But when saints fans try and tell us we’re not and say he’s gone for the money and it’s a sideways step etc, of course we’re gonna come back with digs and gloat about the fact that we are the 4th most successfull club in England to wind them up.
When Moyes left for UTD I said fair enough and good riddance. If a player or manager wants to move on then it’s up to them, a manager leaving Southampton for Everton will always be a step up unless they start actually winning things, Koeman feels he has a better chance of doing that at Everton and rightly so. Bigger fan base and a bigger name to attract players.
This wouldn’t of even been a discussion 2 seasons ago ffs
