A very good point about the reality of what is happening and the diversions keeping everyone’s attention in the wrong place.
“And then Monday in court, a British court, it was a bunch of Americans who openly decided what should happen and both the prosecutor and the judge complied.”
“What Assange practiced when he published “US war files” is called journalism. Which thank god is perfectly legal. Much of what those files reveal is not. What he did when he allegedly “skipped bail” in the UK is called requesting asylum. Also perfectly legal, a basic human right. He never broke a law.”
“If you live in Britain and you think Brexit is a more important issue than Assange, you’re delusional. Nothing is more important to anyone in a society than a government torturing a man to death in broad daylight, a man who moreover has not broken a single law.”
Notice the word “rape” is still being used, although they know the investigation wasn’t for rape in the English understanding of the word.
How many times was the word rape used when the bbc were not probing Ponce Andy and if the yanks want to extradite him will he be banged up in Belmarsh?
If you’ve read the article, you’ll know that he hasn’t been. The doctors in question have written an open letter to Priti Patel asking that Assange be moved from Belmarsh to a hospital, as they fear that his life will be in danger if he is kept where he is. They based this on eyewitness accounts of those who saw his appearance in court on the 21st October, and on the report of a UN rapporteur who spent time with Assange.
Would you consider that a valid concern from said doctors?
The issue I have with this is that there are a lot of doctors making judgements based upon second hand information without having examined the patient and then this being used by others to push a point.
Maybe if this had been restricted to medical professionals who had actually examined him, it would be more powerful and less likely to draw cynicism
Ahh…let’s just let him die shall we if you think he looks fighting fit. The man has obvious physiological and physical problems, both evident in his latest court appearance. No I’m not privy to his medical records but there’s nothing wrong with my eyes and ears.
Opinion based on reports from other professionals. Isn’t that normal?
Have a read of this, then follow all the links for reports(there’s lots) from professionals that have examined him.
Anyone that doesn’t think he’s being tortured is either ignorant of the facts or very very easily led(ask Nils Melzer he’s quite an expert on this subject).
Would you agree with judge Emma(conflict of interests) Arbuthnot that a Juliet balcony is enough room for a person to get ample exercise?
Very good interview with Melzer that gives a clear history of state abuse, lies and torture.
Anyone that fell for the bullshit, or trusts the government/media, here’s a reminder of the contempt they have for your intellect(if the last election didn’t make you realise).
