Unfortunately for Assange, no. He’s off to the United States of World Horrors(torture included, free of charge) to be convicted of the most heinous crime against all humanity, that is, revealing the crimes of state, to the only people with the power to stop it(don’t worry, they’re dealing with that anomaly, as quick as is humanly possible without alerting the heard).

It would appear Assange was correct yet again. Espionage charges this time(as predicted) to make sure he never sees the light of day, all for the crime of revealing truth about international murderers and criminals.
This article is ok until you get to the last two paragraphs and then it goes into farce.

Indeed. Way beyond all the comments about Assange’s personality and conduct, this is a straightforward attack on journalism and freedom of speech. It’s also potentially a very dangerous game for the Trump administration to be playing.

Yeah, freedom of the press/freedom of speech/holding power to account are all under attack.This bit raises some issues.
Scott Horton, an international human rights lawyer who lectures at Columbia Law School, said the administration could try to produce evidence to support a contention that in 2016, Assange knew that he was receiving emails stolen from the Democratic party by Russian military intelligence, proving he was acting as a foreign agent.
“That would open a Pandora’s box for this administration, which is trying to get away from the idea of collusion,” Horton said. “The downsides for the Trump team are extremely dangerous.”
Doesn’t foreign agent mean he could face the death penalty?
That’s why 70 of our very own embarrassments to the rule of law have been screaming for him to be sent to Sweden on ridiculous false charges(Sweden will send anyone to the USoWH without question).
If it wasn’t so important it would be funny watching them try to say it was Russia that helped us, after the last three years. Trump will lose a lot of support if he allows this. He was very appreciative of Wikileaks and his supporters are already questioning why he isn’t pulling troops out as promised.
If they are not careful they will turn Assange into a martyr.

Excellent piece by Cook, listing some of the most important lies.

That short sentence includes at least three factual errors. In fact, to repeat it, as so many people do, you would need to have been hiding under a rock for the past decade – or, amounting to much the same thing, been relying on the corporate media for your information about Assange, including from supposedly liberal outlets such as the Guardian and the BBC.
And a follow up about our embarrassments that have the nerve to call themselves journalists.
