Perhaps we can’t sympathise with the Turks until we invoke article 50? Or maybe just no one knows what I Am Turkish is in Turkish? Pretty deplorable really.

Should add that I mention that on my Facebook page and so far, no replies!

Pretty easy on Google translate (though quite likely wrong)

Ben Turkum.

There has been very little on social media. I was a little surprised nothing on here either where we start threads on all sorts. But and internal politics are closer to home.

Ah well. My thoughts are with all people who are affected by violent acts the world over.

Although I am in Crete at the moment and have had many holidays in Greece, I have also had several holidays in Turkey. Both peoples are incredibly kind and helpful and love the Brits. They seem incredibly similar part from language and religion. You would like to think that the fact that one is Christian and the other Muslim would have nothing to do with how we view them when something like this happens.

Oh well, for what it is worth I have changed my picture to the Turkish flag on FB and have also had a bit of a rant. It’s a start
