You’re not allowed to ask that, it’s racist. Apparently.

Maybe ask why no western or eastern European really wanted to take the Jews post WWII

Religion
is the most ridiculous invention ever by humans
given we have evolved a so called higher intelligence, its was fucking stupid thing to do to explain things that were still not understood before the idea if scientific thought was established

The fact it still exists in any of its forms is also fucking scary

You’re starting from the immediate premise that you know with complete certainty and with an absolutely undeniable knowledge based on scientifically proven fact that all religious belief is false, and following from that assumption, nobody or nothing external to the planet could possibly have previously intervened or attempted to do so in what they perceived to be the interests of our evolution as a species or the interests of the planet because you personally can’t understand how or why they would do it. It’s all down to evolution, and that’s flat and final.

If that’s true, and it really is all down to evolution, why do you care what happens to anyone else? You aren’t here to be nice, you’re here to evolve the species and evolution is not a nice or a nasty process. In fact it has no moral or ethical guidelines, those are purely ideological guidelines taught to us on the basis of unscientific beliefs many of which are religious. Good and evil are concepts outside the scope of evolution, even the words are extractions of God and the Devil. Your ideas of the good guys and bad guys and of wrong and right are irrelevant without some supra-evolutionary belief system which you blithely assert to be ridiculous.

I don’t know any more than anyone else about the nature of existence, but I do know whatever scientific knowledge of it we’ve achieved so far has barely begun to scratch the surface. The utter conviction that you “know” it all to be untrue, and your willingness to loudly proclaim this to all and sundry, ought to give you some idea of the unimaginable scale of your own self-delusion. But it won’t, because in your own head none of it’s true.

I know MOT’s premise is false. I have seen Buddha’s Tooth. Kandy, Sri Lanka)

It is clearly all true

The other one was in China or maybe Singapore or maybe or maybe

Hahaha

Did you get AI to write that? sorry but its bollox as is your interpretation of what I said
but I’ll leave that for another day, instead humour me and let me know if you believe in Poseidon, or Zeus, or Ra, or Santa? (And if not why not? because if you dont, you are an atheist)

There is an equal lack of evidence they existed?

Do you believe this ‘God’ is all powerful and all good as those who follow the Islam, Christian and Jewish religions believe from their teachings that he is? Because he cant be both
He can either not be responsible for brain tumours in kids in which case he is not all powerful, or he is and he is certainly not all good/is a cunt

Religious belief is younger than humans have existed
it became a ‘thing’ only when we had evolved enough to question the unknown and become scared of death, and whilst its very true that science has only ‘scratched the surface’ science does not have faith in what it does not know or cannot demonstrate through repeatable experiment. Religions present their believers with NO evidence whatsoever, not giving their kids the right to chose later when they can make informed choices - instead brainwashing them that if they are bad they will spend an eternity in hell
So you carry on defending some sort of Faith in this shit if you want, but thankfully, I dont have to live in fear because as humans, we have also developed the ability to reason.

This ignores one of the very fundamental concepts of evolution, Good and evil are NOT. concepts outside the scope of evolution, but the anisogamy concept, and the evolutionary pressures on the drive to pass on genetic information HAS directly led to our concepts of good and bad
but it will take a lot longer to explain that here
 I studied over 4 years
.

I get it. You know the truth, and anyone who believes different is an idiot. You’re also the font of all compassion although you’ll happily deride anyone who disagrees with your stunningly narrow view of existence.

Crack on. :+1::+1:

Oh dear, ‘lack of compassion’ ? you obviously know me well. How do you feel that the teachings of most religions would see you in hell for some of the jokes you post?

Or gays, infidels
or whoever does not agree, or Circumcision? You have also failed yo answer a very simple question so assume you are also an atheist

OK.
Rather than attack Brlief Systems, take a sideways dive into the world of the Himan Mind. NLP and Hypnosis are a starting point IF you look st them scientically, or, as I did, Empirically.

Human Prayer on a very deep level can (sorry, CAN) show symptoms or a deep (lets call it) Self Hypnosis.

Now, I will never argue with you about “Religion” but the Human Mind does graduate towards belief systems.

I explored this world for about 8 years, I saw how it worked, I saw and I believed when a Muslim Man married a Jewish Man who thought he was a female live on stage in front of their peers (Marry a Martian loads on YouTube) or, The Orgasm Gun. Hell I even learnt that.

Religions are perpetuated by Humans as they fill a deep Psychological need, irredpective of their basis in reality

There is a science if you look at all of them. It’s our wiring, just needs the Hypnotist

My dad believed in Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding.
He stayed at home and made Sunday Lunch while my mum took me and my brother to church.

I still believe in Roast Beef and Yorkshire Pudding.

I’m neither atheist nor religious myself, however I dislike seeing the beliefs of others dismissed in the cavalier fashion you employ. Your opinion that we’ve already “proved” the nonexistence of any entity more advanced than current human evolution on the grounds that you don’t accept the possibility of it is but one example. As far as I’m concerned, someone else’s religious beliefs are every bit as valid as your belief that they’re wrong, and I’ve noticed that atheists usually shout the loudest. However, you have spoken. The Israelis are the bad guys, the Palestinian Muslims are the good guys, and it’s all the fault of the Jews for being religious. Got it. :+1::+1:

Again making up bollocks
I have NEVER indicated The Israelis are the only bad guys and Palestinians are all Good, so at the very least respect that. There is never justification for Hamas kicked off
but if you dont feel the Israeli response is genocide then how would you describe it?

You need to recognise that if you are an atheist, you cannot respect any belief system because the it would be an acceptance that there is value in holding them when this is just the same as believing in Ghosts, woo of the tooth fairy. You can respect the human right to HOLD such beliefs, but NOT the respect the belief its self, There is an important difference, but then again you dont seem to do subtlety
.

Meanwhile no one feels able to justify the teachings if these systems
