I got conned by that during my divorce got Mrs D_P rev 1.0 a Diesel based on that advice.
Ex claimed the damages obviously
I got a Megan Grand Scenic 1.5 dci diesel when the kids were little - Apart from if being made last thing on a Friday and things forever going wrong it was a brilliant car - economical and for the size, like shit off a hot shovel.
I think the emissions were quite low, but diesel is the Antichrist of cars these days, right?

I’ve had two…2008 Audi A4 TDI and a 2016 Kia Sportage. The A4 was incredibly green for very good reason (they cheated) and the Kia cuz it was very frugal. The new leased Kia will be a hybrid, arriving in October.
