How are Iran bolshie? Are they setting up bases in Mexico?

When you say the Russians and Chinese are interested for their own interests, what do you mean? That they won’t sit back and allow Bonkers Bolton and Trump to ride roughshod over international law and make up silly, fantastical story’s about Iran blowing up Saudi ships as an excuse to attack them? Could you give some examples of Iran being bolshie? Do you really not see what is going on here Barry? Sooner or later some nations have to stand up against the USA, who are clearly, under Trump, becoming out of control. Bonkers Bolton is a nutter, he has been itching to attack Iran for years, even Bush senior got rid of him because he was crazy. As each day goes by the USA are exposed as a terrorist nation, the major threat to the planet. This may hurt, but in the eyes of the civilized world the USA and their Saudi and Israeli friends have far less credibility than Iran. Compared with Iran, one of the world’s oldest civilizations, who were building cities when the USA, and the UK were still swinging from the trees we are pygmies. More power to the elbows of Russia and China in their attempts to put a stop to the terrorist USA and their poodles, ie, the UK, in their attempts to undermine and overthrow sovereign countries like Iran, Venezuela and the rest of them, purely for their own interests and naked greed. How dare they have our oil under their soil eh!

Before I read the rest I’ll have to pull you up in international law concerning Russia and China, do you really want to go there or are you a hypocrite?

Go on, indulge me.

Human rights?
Tibet?
Crimea?
Georgia?
Island building?
Democracy?
Gay rights?

Thats a start.

The last time Tibet was a country was in 1206. Since then it has been an autonomous region of China. How far back do you want to go?
Human rights? Every country in the world abuses human rights, including us.
Crimea - Georgia, We could argue until the cows come home regarding this, the bottom line is that the people of the Crimea in a referendum chose to remain Russian. Just as in the EU referendum you insist the result of the referendum is sacrosanct and must be adhered to. Who’s the hypocrite now?
Island building? What do you mean? And don’t come back and say that China alone are guilty of this.
Democracy. Like our democracy? The only democracy we have in this country is the day of an election when we put our cross on a ballot paper, after that any democracy flies out of the window. Manifestos we voted on are immediately torn up and our votes are held in contempt.
Gay rights. A long way to go everywhere.

But this thread is about Iran Barry, and the lies, sanctions and threats by the USA in their attempt to undermine a sovereign country, overthrow a legitimate government to further American interests. Try to keep up.

There are only three countries in the world that America hasn’t invaded or have never seen a US military presence. Andorra, Bhutan and Liechtenstein. The immediate threats to world peace and the sovereignty of independent nations of the world are not threats from Russia or China, but America. Anyone with a brain, who hasn’t swallowed the bullshit fed to them over many years knows it. Of course you will stick your fingers in your ears and pretend black is white - – your problem.

You need to learn about whatabaoutism.

What? Countries pursuing national interest?

Yeah, the ramifications from this act of aggression will prove to be far more complex than previous mass murder/nation destruction and as you say, there are other nations that have a direct interest, or just realise that it might be better to help a neighbour make a stand, rather than wait for your nation to be the next destroyed on a lie(or in Iraqs case, after).
As to your final question, it might just be. The west is heading for financial collapse anyway and anything but a swift victory will just accelerate this and (hope of hopes)destroy the petro dollar. Russia & China’s interests in the country would suggest that they will not sit this one out. They knew this was coming, so how prepared are they?
They have also both been stocking up on gold, selling their US bonds, making their Internet financial systems separate and introducing new oil trading standards. They appear to have been long in the planning for this eventuality. It could get very messy very fast and as usual the blame falls on only one side.

What about the US and Israel pursuing national interest?

Island builders and invaders?

Define military presence.

Any chance of getting back on topic?

You the Mod @Intiniki - make him

need some mod training first.

Ah, can’t help you there.

Remember, with great power comes great responsibility- except for telling Baz to stop being a doink.

Ah, @saintbletch is the duty Barry-mod 24/7, we don’t have the life skills that he has that have helped him handle Baz

I don’t do political threads. I took early retirement - sport only now. Lol.

@Intiniki, we do need to give you a little introduction, but for situations like this your instinct is right on.

First ask the funsters to get back on topic - explaining why the posts you are worried about are not on topic.

Secondly, if they don’t keep on topic we either delete of move the posts (you won’t know how to do this yet).

With my mate Baz, we move his (and those who have interacted with him in an off-topic manner) posts to Barry Island. A thread that isn’t made public. It sort of exists between this plane and the next, somewhere in the Sanchezphere.

Finally, if the behaviour continues we can suspend the user for a few hours.
