There was a replay earlier of the dropped catch where the England player had the ball in his hand and then his elbow hit the ground and the ball came out.
To me the ball was in his hand as long as the ball was in Umesh’s hand yesterday so surely the Indian player should have been out??

Shame Cook put that chance down near the end. A 1st innings lead of about 70 would’ve been very tidy. Hopefully we’ll see England really attack in this session.

Currently 70-o off of 21, good but not spectacular.
The young Hameed looks tremendously assured.

He does, doesn’t he? I like what I’m seeing. It’s been a problem position for ages.

Not sure we’re going to win this, but it’s a mature and controlled performance. A decent innings from Duckett would tick a lot of boxes.

We were never going to win it after we scored 500+ on the 2nd day, was always going to be a draw.
Day 5 begins England 163 runs ahead
Lets get to 350 and put them back in for at least an attempt at a game
Cookes 50 up England lead by 188
Both Cook and Hameed closing in on centuries 87 and 81 respectively
