Sheldon Cottrell with a superb run out of Tamim, I’ll let Cricinfo describe it…
Cottrell to Tamim Iqbal, OUT , WHAT AN EFFORT FROM COTTRELL! Length ball, driven back by Tamim, and Cottrell picks it up and fires it straight back. Caught him inches short. This is brilliant from Sheldon Cottrell. Is that the twist in the tale?
Bangladesh half way there after 24.5 overs
201-3
20 overs to go Hadan still going
I dunno why Russell is still out there when he can’t run around and he’s not going to bowl again.
Shakib has been outstanding in this match. His boundary shots are beautiful.
3 sixes in a row. Bangladesh making it look easy.

There were points here where I thought this was going to be really close, but Bangladesh are cruising to the highest run chase of the tournament.
No idea why Windies dropped a bowler and still picked an injured player.

And what a humble, down to earth person.
Player of the tournament IMHO

Absolutely agree with you. A fabulous innings from Shakib, that was a terrific couple of hours entertainment. He must be very close to being the best all round cricketer in the world, certainly in the one day format.
Aye, he is ranked number 1 at the moment
I didn’t realise that. Doesn’t surprise me.

The big one today
(and Wales) v
at Old Trafford
It’s in Manchester, will it rain??
If it’s not raining.
It’s about to.
So much easier to get someone else to post a weather forecast on here than arse around on weather.com & do it myself.
Should have some time to watch a bit today, main chore is driving Mrs P_F around to meetings and some garden bug killing chores
Vince and Bairstow opening, Vince out in the mid 30s again??
England won toss and chose to bat

He should have been out on 20 when he mis-hit a shot going for a big six, good job the Afghan fielding this morning is woeful (and that’s being kind)
Nope, didn’t even make 30
26 and he’s out, top edging a hook, 3rd time he’s been tested this over, first one he bottom edged, second one he got right, 3rd one he top edged
44-1 after 9.3 overs
