How long has Theresa May got?

What do you suggest, the party that won 60 less seats form the Government? Thstll be a strange type of democracy

What stinks or is pig headed about the party which won most seats & most votes forming the government?

What stinks?

Perhaps describing the opposition as a coalition of chaos that embraces terrorists, and then doing exactly that yourself, financed by a magic money tree?

But I’m only guessing.

Where do you want to start Duckie? It is nice that you still support a Government that spectacularly lost its majority when it was faced with an “unelectable” leader of the opposition and has spent a fortune on a grubby deal to stay in power with a bunch of scumbags. Let’s also not forget that they have done a u-turn on many of their policies. You can keep it up as long as you like, but the plain truth is the Tories have fucked up and are on borrowed time.

Thought this was well worth a bump, considering the circumstances. We are one year on. May’s government has lost minister after minister. If you scrubbed out the faces of those that have gone from the proud inaugural photo, it would look like a plot device from a slasher horror flick.

She obviously appointed Boris to keep him pissing out of the tent. He’s gone, and will be pissing in, soon enough. He’s got his Telegraph column back, last paying a “chicken feed” salary of 250k per annum. I wonder what he’s getting this time?

Gideon Osborne is already in control of the Evening Standard, and has been using it as a pulpit to ex-communicate May’s brand of Conservatism from his own. There are plenty of other unhappy folk in amongst the right leaning media, and let us not forget, May’s government limped toward the end of Parliament, after trying to end it earlier.

The devil makes work for idle hands, and those hands are never idler when they’re chilling abroad, with all the time in the world to respond to interesting WhatsApp conversations.

What will become of Theresa May?

  • Ousted as soon as they get back, in time for Autumn General Election
  • Ousted just after Brexit, with hopefully enough time for Spring General Election.
  • Leads the Conservatives into the next General Election

I thought the Sotonians voted on this only a year ago. Is there a need for a second vote?

Is it the will of the people @Bucks?

Given how badly wrong some people got it first time, it’s only fair to let them have another go.

FWIW she will do Brexit whatever 5hat end up being, cos let’s face it,any MP who wants a future as a leader needs to steer clear right now.

She will stay in place for a year, then resign, that way it doesn’t appear Brexit related.

We get someone else, but no election, until the five years are up. And we get two years of Corbyn squealing about no mandate.
