And that’s 185/9. One last wicket to take, then (hopefully) around 200 runs to make.
Scenario One - Hampshire bowl them out and chase the required 225/250 to salvage the whole season.
Scenario Two. We allow them to get 350 and fall miserably short.
Scenario Three. We bowl them out straight after tea then collapse and fail to chase down 225, reminding everyone why we are going down.
All these of course assume that Sussex get nothing at Yorkshire.

Yorks have another rain delay, just after losing a wicket. Lead by 244, three remaining. Come on the weather!
Surely we need Yorkshire to beat Sussex as the points for a draw would take them out of reach?
Either way, Hampshire are doing their bit…Sussex will need to get over 300 tomorrow, or to bat out the day.
So that’s stumps, with Hampshire on 89 without loss. Another 111 runs to get tomorrow, and hope that the Tykes do us a favour.
