First few overs were a bit dicy and
Middlesex appealed regularly. It only had to hit the batsman for the slip cordon and glovesman to go up.
Excellent work behind the stumps for their wicket. Not so for a drop at cover earlier in the innings.
We looked relatively comfortable whilst Middlesex would be disappointed with just the solitary wicket after some quality spells of bowling.
Small margins. Hampshire’s morning, just.
