Looks like weâll need that new ballâŚ
Well this is an annoying partnership. Letâs just hope that when we get the next wicket a couple more will fall quickly. And if that can happen before the new ball is due then so much the better. They still have forty overs to bat and thatâs quite a lot when you have only four wickets in hand.
On the other hand, our bowlers must be getting a tad knackered by now.

Fuck off. I was there.
Holland carried on from last week and was very impressive. Young Felix did a passable impersonation of Geoff Boycott, but occasionally switched to Botham. When he was on 93 my mate moaned that he would take another hour to get his ton. Promptly hit 4 and 3 tin successive balls. Unfortunately got out next ball he faced.
Roussow batted sensibly for him, until he gloved a reverse sweep to slip. Donald was going great again, until he fell to a wonder catch.
For obvious reasons I wonât be there tomorrow and no Iâm not attendind church.
Back to proper cricket, game petering out to a draw already??
They canât lose this one, surely
