Well, well, well, what a tremendous victory for Hampshire – apparently some bookies were offering odds of 100/1 against us winning at Day 1 close of play – and what a fantastic advertisement for County Championship Cricket!!!
But talk about tense! I sank three pints in little over ten minutes after we lost Dawson’s wicket.
Really hope this serves as a springboard for the rest our season.
Add this to our win at West Brom – what an absolutely brilliant weekend!

One hell of a chase, any which way you look at it. In a low-scoring match, where it was the highest total by almost 50 runs, that’s just phenomenal. Hope I’m not sounding too hyperbolic here, but that really is a spectacular result - all the more so given our travails oover recent seasons. Wow.

Ballance saved the Tyke’s by getting a double century in the second innings and a Century in the first
But we are third in the table after three matches 5 points of the lead
