Well, well, well, what a tremendous victory for Hampshire โ apparently some bookies were offering odds of 100/1 against us winning at Day 1 close of play โ and what a fantastic advertisement for County Championship Cricket!!!
But talk about tense! I sank three pints in little over ten minutes after we lost Dawsonโs wicket.

One hell of a chase, any which way you look at it. In a low-scoring match, where it was the highest total by almost 50 runs, thatโs just phenomenal. Hope Iโm not sounding too hyperbolic here, but that really is a spectacular result - all the more so given our travails oover recent seasons. Wow.
and Berg finishing with a four and then an over-the-top six to win it! piss take!!! Sheer brilliance by the team, what a performance. Wow indeed!
