Did well to get so close after conceding 193
A partnership of 47 in three overs from Sammy and Afridi helped
Afridi and Sammy put us back in the game…but got out just a little too early. Good performance to take it to the last over…lost by 8 runs.

Given the weather today, SO5 and I should be looking forward to a cracking evening at the Oval, just as long the boys learn not to concede 193. And bat like we mean it from the start, not just from halfway through. Apart from that, its in the bag
Oh and the last two Finals days have been briliant long after Hants pretty feeble semi-final exits, so all will be well!

Yep the season looks pretty grim when we are so off the pace even in T20. Even though the team selection looked poor and captaincy seems odd, I do wonder how much impact there was last night from the very sad death of 20 year old Hamza Ali, a 2nd string player
