Someone PLEASE tell me they weren’t so stupid as to keep them turned off to save money/make a point about budgets.

Surely not

Katie Hopkins has described Britain as a nation of ghettos, full of people who are frightened, and we are more divided than at any time in our history.

She was also happy to suggest that London is a series of foreign enclaves and the rest of the country is divided from the capital, an issue she links to Brexit - she also agreed that our government hates the UK outside of liberal London where multiculturism is a failed experiment.

Dear Katie,

we are not frightened nor divided as you say, nor are we living in the country that you describe, you are once again a parasite on grief, talking absolute bollocks to earn yourself cash - and you look like a transgender pig in a cheap wig.

There are certain people you can bet your mortgage on talking bollocks when something like this happens, and this woman is one of them. You’d think she would be chastened a little since being clobbered with a huge fine for her previous bout of bollocks, but no, here it comes again. She belongs to a group of people whose brains are wired differently and they seem to think that they are very important and their opinions are of more value than the rest of us mere mortals opinions. Their supporters say that they “tell it as it is” when, in reality, they are just talking bollocks. Someone will be along shortly to tell us she is right.

London is 100% back to normal today.

Got the tube home last night, busy as ever. Same thing this morning. Oxford Street is as busy as ever, as is Soho.

No cowardly prick hiding behind a steering wheel or a knife will break us.

Londoners show defiance by remaining unfriendly and quite impatient

Isnt it the same everywhere though? The attacks in France and Germany havent made one iota of difference, same as here. People carry on with their lives and some, sadly, have to carry the burden of lost or maimed loved ones. These twats give up their lives for what? They throw their lives away and are instantly forgotten, with nothing to show for their sacrifice other than the heartbreak of those involved. What a fucking senseless waste.

I can vouch for this. A woman at work had a go at me for allegedly not seeing her right behind me when i went through a door so it “nearly” slammed in her face.

The fact I don’t have 2 eyes on back of head didn’t seem to phase her.

“First terrorist attack since Lee Rigby”

Except the murder of Jo Cox. I guess white English people are incapable of terrorising :lou_eyes_to_sky:

Obviously.

If Trump cared about Terrorism, he’d be banning white nationalists from the US. They kill more people there than Islamic terrorists.

Somehow, I don’t think that’s the driving factor though.

Fox News has their Terrorist Expert reporting that the whole of London was closed down by one man.

Perhaps the Trump war on fake news should start closer to home.

Think they’re called narcissists. We shouldn’t give that person any of our time. Remember that’s why she does it.

Hmm. Who do I believe?

The wanker on Fox News Network?

Or @charltaylor95 , who lives on the other side of Westminster Bridge, could see the copper choppers swirling all about the place, and only didn’t go out because her mum and I asked her not to.

They all sat in and got food delivered, which I’m guessing must have been borne by a pigeon (not subject to lockdown).

Three facts. Forgive me if I go a bit Michael Caine on the third.

  1. The largest ever seizure of explosives aimed for domestic use happened in Lancashire.

  2. The bloke they arrested was a white supremacist.

  3. Despite happening in the peak terror years, not a lot of people know that.

Unbelievable isn’t it? The fact that the MSM, including the BBC, make statements like,‘First terrorist attack since Lee Rigby’, without even a nod to the terrorist killing of Jo Cox speaks volumes about their agenda. All of them toeing the party line, keeping to the accepted script, brainwashing the masses. Sadly, for the most part, it works too.

I see that police have named the twat from yesterday and his name isn’t Trevor. Silly channel 4

There’s circumstantial evidence that their powers are waning. I know people will say that most of the right wing papers had an effect on the result due to their pro-Leave stance, but equally, you’ve got to consider the rather meagre circulation in comparison to the huge cultural power of the BBC.

As someone that has considered British current affairs output near naked propaganda for the past decade, I’m encouraged by many of the developments in the interim. The power of social media is yet to be quantified, but Twitter has been credited as a huge factor in the campaigns of both Barack Obama and Donald Trump. If the Chicken Coup had happened pre-everyone-on-the-Internet, I’m not sure Corbyn would have survived. He got a higher mandate, and that was after the factionally motivated suspensions. As I said, it’s unquantifiable, but I believe social media is making a difference.

The other area of real improvement has been the rise of English language channels from foreign countries. RT is an excellent example, and yes, I’m expecting the reactionaries to claim that it is owned by the Kremlin, and there are certainly shows on it which seem extremely Russo-centric. CrossTalk, I’m looking at you.

These same reactionaries perhaps forget that the BBC has jumped to the tune of whatever government was in charge. I sometimes let them off, and say it all began after the David Kelly affair. In truth, they’ve been like this for decades.

Where were they when the people of Liverpool really needed an independent broadcaster to jump in with an independent assessment? Why didn’t they speak up when Savile was on a rampage of abuse, often on their own manor? There’s no doubt that the BBC has had its bright spots. It has provided me with some of the finest things I have ever seen on television.

This BBC wouldn’t even show one of the highlights, Blackadder Goes Forth, during the 1914 centenary. I don’t care what @saintbristol says about their integrity. They are a shadow of their former selves and have always been far more shadowy than they’d like us to believe.

The worst thing is the cunts have the gall to repeatedly call themselves impartial.
