Incredibly disturbing and yet compelling real life TV. If youāre an animal lover this will be a tough, if not impossible, watch.
It follows a group of Internet weirdos as they try to track down the person behind a sickeningly cruel video posted online involving cats.
From behind their desks they track the individual responsible and then realise that he is taunting the group as he releases more videos.
And then all shit breaks lose.
You never see scenes of actual cruelty but they are described at length and you watch the reaction of other people watching them.
If you can stomach that, watch it.
Coincidentally, this review is in the guardian today and says very similar things (almost as if the author has copied your Sotonians post). To be honest, heās put me off more than you did because he really plays on how upsetting the whole thing is. Iām quite a delicate flower and not sure I want to upset myself voluntarily.

I nearly stopped watching after the first exposure to the content of the first video but I was already hooked and wanted ājusticeā.
Being a geek I also enjoyed how the members of the Facebook group used tech and Internet resources to track the sick cunt.
I use the data that Sotonians generates on each of your visits to stalk you so it gave me some fresh ideas - especially about vacuum cleaners.
Plus from the teasers in the trailer you know itās.going to escalate pretty dramatically away from ājustā a cunt that kills cats.

I have binge watched this today. Itās interesting. A few thoughts:
- The cat business didnāt disturb me in the slightest because you donāt see anything
- The Canadians in the film have very weird accents. Do they all speak like this?
- I really didnāt like that ending bit. How fucking dare they. Particularly that woman. That made me very angry. More angry than the cat business
- Why would they send the murder video to each other without saying āoh this shows a gruesome murderā rather than just āwatch this!ā
- Why did John get up and watch the murder video on his big screen? He also said he couldnāt stop watching it and did so about 20 time. Heās a sicko.
- Nothing too much wrong with the python video as thatās just nature.
- Iām a cunt

Started on Bates Motel last night. I could have binged watched it all night but manage to curtail viewing at episode 3.
