Iām watching the NFL coverage on Sky for the first time in a long timeā¦I still have an irrational loathing for Neil Reynolds.
Saw him at one of the tailgate parties in 2019 at Wembley, the guy has an overblown sense of his own self importanceā¦

Just nearly finishing binging on The Queenās Gambit and am pleased to say that it lives up to the hype. Donāt be put off if you arenāt into chess, it is so much more. Love a bit of 60ās nostalgia too.
Loved the sets and scenery. Hoping when we can all travel again to go to Berlin to see some of the buildings.
I think Iāve worked out a few of them. Not something I usually watch but give me a clue and a voice and I am in.
After getting the heads up from the Graham Norton show we have just started binge watching Call My Agent on Netflix. Great show if you donāt mind subtitles (itās French). It takes a very large pin to the bubble of the film industry and a lot of older French actresses send themselves up famously.
Apparently so huge there was an article on the Beeb news app about it.
Itās on the list
Just started the watch the film the Dissident, its about the Jamal Khashoggi and his assassination, fucking heavy so far, no wonder Netflix wouldnāt touch it.
Finally finished all 4 series of Call My Agent and can thoroughly recommend it. Funny, warm, insightful. You really care about the characters, despite their many shortcomings. The ending was very poignant and rounded off the series perfectly, but left Mrs SOG in tears - always a good sign.
Noooooo. Hope he is OK.
Lady Slowlane and myself are watching Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin in the Netflix series āThe Kominsky Methodā
Plenty and I mean plenty, of laugh out loud moments, razor sharp scriptā¦four episodes of Series One so far.
Itās good isnāt it
Iām only into season 1 of TMITHC, late to the party as ever, but I am enjoying it immensityā¦
Wow!
Finally watched Joker with Joaquin Phoenix
Funny, sad in equal measures.
A lot of hard mental health issues written all over it - ironically today because of Covid weāre more aware of them.
Would recommend it.
Goodnight
Why do you make me admin, @Cobham-Saint?

Because itās too easy maybe?
Great film though. No need to be a capeshit nerd to enjoy it. And no capes in sight, anywhere. Alfred was too much of a chubster imho.
Watched the first episode of the Mr Bates vs The Post Office last night - great little drama about the Horizon Post Office IT system and how it fucked over hundreds of sub postmasters
Having read up a bit more, quite how PO mgmt / Fujitsu employees have not been jailed for their actions is beyond me. The ex CEO Vennells is going to have a miserable 2024 - from what I have read, she will be eviscerated by this programme (and rightly so).
Well, thatās a surprise
TVN (local Terrestrial TV) is showing Chernobyl the Sky/HBO series from about 4 years ago.
In English!
It was the 1st show I watched after moving here on a dodgy stream supplied by a mate

Nice to see it on the bigger screen TV rather than the laptop!
Just on Ep4. Shocking on every level
BBC4 last night showed āA Year in the New Forestā, worth catching on iPlayer
I was going to watch that, then thought no, itāll just be an hour of @CB-Saint moaning about tourists and gyppos. ![]()
