Totally avoiding products shipped via the Middle East tbh or made in Taiwan/Japan
Going for a Samsung A25 with armoured film and a case.
I really hated the work Oppo and it kept overheating and we kept being told it was fine so staying in the samsung verse
Prob getting it Saturday need Mrs P_F with me to get it set to English Language

No he doesn’t need an English spellchecker. It’s so much more entertaining with the Polish one.

Reprising my search for new walking boots from this thread 2 years ago, I decided on Brasher Country Traveller Walking Shoes. They are the most comfortable, waterproof boot/shoes I’ve ever had, but after 2 years of total abuse, the right shoe has decided to fall apart.

TBF they were never dried out properly (I’ve warned Chambers that similar behaviour will not be tolerated) so I had to buy a new pair. I know a few people who swear by them, saying they’ve lasted them for years so I thought I’d give them a second chance. Pleasantly surprised to find that “Blacks” now trading as “Ultimare Outdoors” had them for the same price as I paid 2 years ago.

Shouldda gone Timberland.
My Leather Walking Boots are close on 10 years old now just put the Dubbin on they still look like new

??? :joy:

Sorry @Polski_Filip recommended the spellcheeker.

His new improved version? :joy:

Dubbin is a new concept for Chambers. I have bought a large tub of it for these new boots but he’s already complaining it’s not formulated for his sensitive skin. :lou_facepalm_2:

I thought I’d was the spellcheck again and Phil was talking about Dublin…

Before my Tumour surgery i had never entertained the voncept of Nordic Walking - basically you plod along with a pair of SkiSticks.
Well, it got me fit as it exercises your core better and your arms/shoulders, today as the knee has a few gradually improving days they REALLY help with hills.

But i never knew the sticks (£8.72 a pair on promotion in Auchan last year, usually £30 ++) are actually quite techish.

So my rubber ends had worn out and i was making clanking noises on paths/roads. Rather than chuck the sticks away, i just spent £1.67) on a pair of Winter Feet.
Some twisting pulling and pushing later I am ready to be clankless AND I’m ready for slippery surfaces.

To finish off a quick squirt of Silicon Oil into the shock absorbers - yep walking sticks with shock absorbers.

What great gadgets and they have hit 18 months of getting me through the Forests & the pathways

Glad to hear the knee is doing well :lou_wink_2:
