I wasn’t that bothered - wouldn’t have gone to any of the headline Pyramid gigs anyway, but when my mate in Pilton invited us to stay in his pad a short walk from the top of Muddy Lane we had to try. (Glasto with a proper Full English, shower & bathroom facilities is just another level!)
Glad in a way, the near 600 quid can be put towards a proper vacation this summer or 
my trip to Rome next year for the golf

Pap why do I need to sit in a field to have a good time? Don’t get me wrong I would but I don’t need Glastonbury to have a good time, my year doesn’t revolve around it (but I do love it), holidays, family time and friends figure higher, that said I really do like Glastonbury, saw Sam Fender on Monday that set will be great for there, also seeing the Stones at Anfield so that should be good.

But you can’t have a Glastonbury good time unless you’re there.

Tbh it was the only way I would have gone to see Leonard Cohen & JayZee - was too wobbly to move far from Cider Bus, and both sets were unexpectedly superb and I’m so glad I saw them
