Well I’ve always exceeded the 25% standard.
I’ve gone to Glastonbury in groups that were always 50% under 30, that year it was muddy we brought the youngest’s mate so it was 60%.
Even Lee brought an under 30 year old, and what fun that was!

According to Jlaw I made a comment that she was younger. No recollection of that. But I suppose that’s part of my ‘things I don’t need to retain’ as I don’t give a damn about them memory.

Sheer luxury…now back in 1970…
…after the first day all the cubicle wooden panels and seats had been used for firewood. 
They asked the question “what’s the most disgusting thing you’ve ever seen at a festival?”
“A man swimming in the long drops” was the best answer.
This is incident is true. I saw a new Hell’s Angel inductee being initiated by being thrown into a “Long Drop” trench at the 1970 IOW Festival. He just laid down and 4 Hell’s Angels each took a limb and threw him in.

It’s a great stage. Woken up to its rumblings two festivals in a row now, and it’s world famous.
The eldest built a model for Ginge’s last birthday. I don’t think everything is to scale.
I recall a Monster of Rock festival back in the piss chucking days. There was this whopping great fence to the right hand side of the stage to keep us away from the talent. As the day wore on it became a giant urinal. As if was on a slope the was the great river of piss running along its base
Anyway toward the late afternoon this rocker staggers out of the crowd looking decidedly worst for wear. He heads over to the great piss river and stick his arm out to lean against the fence whilst he has a leak. This is wear his judgement of distances fail him. He was stood too far away, he lean forward, flailed his arm into nothingness and fell face first into the river
Unfortunately for him, he also passed out and he lay there for the next half an hour. Marinaded by the piss of a hundred thousand bursting bladders.
