It’s fun to watch and record the growth rather than disclosing its location and finding it gone tomorrow.

These are Kite Mushrooms
A Parasol Shroom.
You identify them by a thin 6-8mm band on the stem that can be moved up or down.
A number of people are currently VERY sick in hospitals here. All have had Liver Transplants.
They ate a version of the same mushroom which has small hook like growths on the stalk that stop that band moving.
Showed Mrs P_F the picture, she wouldn’t touch that one.
The secret is Grandma’s book or a big forum of foragers, not just Google.
I told a story about driving the guy who patented the MRNA delivery technology for Oxford University.
He told the tale of (a lot) of Ukrainian ladies who relicated to Eastern Germany when the Wall fell.
They all died picking and eating a Common Ukrainian Mushroom
The genus can vary with Geography as well as small barbs.

Tbh only thing growing here, the drought is crippling us no rain for months. Vistula in Warsaw is down to 5cm of depth supposed to have boats & ferries on it
