Yep watching a jet flying out to sunny climes this afternoon. Poor suckers flying out to Amber destinations only to find the UK is on their Red List when they get there.

Once upon a time I took a photo.
I walked into the middle of a motorway in Dubai to take it.
Friends said I should caption it and send it to the National Newspaper.
Little did I know what would happen the next morning
Full front page. Every amateur snappers dream.
It also won National Press Photo of the year.
I did of course stupidly sign over the image rights so earned praise and no cash from it

Well it being World Photography Day today I thought I’d dig out one of my favourite pictures of the last few years. This one was taken in Warwick Castle on a misty January morning in 2019.
I particularly like it as It was a serendipitous moment, totally unplanned. The man sat there and his left hand went up to rub an aching shoulder as if instructing me to click the shutter…
The cadaverous face in the fold of his trouser below the left knee was a mysterious bonus.
