You’d only get airsick.

Dont dump and run like that ffs.
What make/model.
How many pax?
Where are the flotation devices?
Etc

If you insist.
its a Sikorsky.
12 Passengers 2 pilots.
flotation devices are in panels on the undercarriage.
it takes 40 mins to get to the beach.
its noisy.
its uncomfortable.
we have to wear lifevests double hearing protection and an emergency rebreather incase it sinks.
during checkin there is social distancing applied . when you get on the chopper you are squashed in touching the person sat next to you which is part of the reason we have to do quarantine before we go offshore.
each taxi ride costs approx $4000.00

No but when on a rig in Angola that was an hour and 45 mins out from Luanda bigger helicopter involved. had a small aisle down the centre and could take 18 passengers.

About 20 mins out from arriving on the unit one of the passengers said he felt unwell got out of his seat and laid in the aisle, he promptly shit himself which very quickly permeates through the cabin. (the windows do not open.). the pilot instead of continuing to the rig turns the chopper around to return to Luanda. About 1hour 20 mins flight time so the other passengers feeling a little queasy at this stage one by one start using the airsick bags provided.
The mess inside was something to behold and the stench absolutely disgusting.

As nippers some of us used dare each other to try and get on them for a ride. Not too many broken bones but plenty of bruises…wasn’t much on the telly box and the Innerweb hadn’t even been dreamed of. Simple times, simple people …
