The biggest riches attract those that can demand the biggest pay packets… not sure that is a source of pride in our league TBH. The Sky billions… There will eventually be a European or even a franchised global super league because money will dictate it.

I quite like dipping into the Bundeslige, Serie A and Ligue 1, but that’s my preference. There’s some great football and great players.
Going all Barry, In my opinion (& there are others out there) you’re deluding yourself if you think the PL has first dibs on quality of competition at all levels of the league.
Anyway, that’s my opinion. You don’t agree but ain’t going to change my view.

Agreed. Also to consider is the difference between quality and competitiveness - The CL teams/top fews sides inch of the main leagues have the most cash = most talent and offer in most cases high quality… but below that there is still good competition in those leagues, especially Bundesliga, with good churn in how teams finish each year as they lose their better players and have to recruit/develop new ones.
