They’ve looked pretty poor. I was expecting fringe players to try and grab their spot but Rashford has missed chances he should have scored, Loftus-Cheek has been crap, Trent Alexander-Arnold hasn’t really been noticeable, not seen much of vardy…

Equally. As a unit our reserve TEAM are shit. But one for one replacements are fine except we seem to have no creative cover for Henderson. Diet is not the answer so we have a weakness

Being serious we have a huge chance now. Our 1dst team have pace and guile. Every game now will be tough, but the kids IF they can get past JRod will be learning & improving. Spain are the business but aren’t what they were.

Southgate was defensive and not completely honest there.

Also he was quite mysterious about whether we wanted to actually win the game. Said something about having to consider the group. Unless he was talking about the group of players, but it sounded like he was happy to lose.
