What a fuck up all round. Shame.
If true, hardly a massive leap up the food chain is it Jose?
Tragicā¦from Hero to Zero in one easy lessonā¦
ā¦imagine you have all the cards.
Canāt we swap him for Payet?
Yeah, it really is only a case of not wanting him to go for purely sentimental reasons really isnāt it?
I mean, meh. Maybe you could argue that his leadership on and off the pitch is important but from the sound of things thatās very much in question at the moment. Heās obviously fallen out with the management in quite a big way.

Not sure about that. Although Yoshidaās played pretty well Iād still rather have Fonte playing.
Still, heās made his bed, he can fucking lie in it.
Well, if heās come back from a mightily successful Euros campaign demanding a fat pay rise, a contract extension or indeed both, and the club hasnāt met his demands, then I guess he may well have fallen out with the management. But, if this is indeed the case (and itās pure conjecture on my part, in case annybodyās wondering) then I know who I would say is in the wrong.
I guess soā¦
Still, sāpose heād have needed replacing soon enough.
*sigh* all very āmehā about Saints transfers these days. We just seem to have to make do with getting what weāre given to such an extent that I can barely register an emotional response to it.
Just watched a Fonte compilation on twitter. The league 1 jouney was so good it cant be replicated.
Its sad its ended this way
fuck the premier league
IF Saints were to sign a 33 year old defender for Ā£8 million, pay him Ā£3 million a year for a 4 year contract, weād think the club had gone mad.
So long Jose. Thanks for all the fish
Iāve said it before the extra money wonāt make him or his family happier or more secure. Heās spent the last 6 months engineering a move from a place he loved and spent the happiest years of his football career, tainting those memories in the process.
Will he expect a tearful reception and plaudits of grateful fans when he steps out for West Ham on Feb 4th. I think not.
Letās not get into that whole booing thing.
He was a great leader for us in a golden era.
He hasnāt slagged us off (yet), heās just moving on, as are we.
Itāll be nice to see him again if he returns in a different shirt.
Especially if heās playing like a twat.
Iām not advocating we should boo himā¦not that it will stop a lot of fans.
Itās okay I didnāt think you were - I was just trying to head off at the pass those simpletons who believe that anyone who takes off the shirt is now dead to them.
If he goes to West Ham he is dead to me!
100% this. If Saints adopt any single part of West Hamās transfer policy then its over, but fortunately thatās about as likely as a Martina scoring spree
Martina is all about quality not quantity - the Osvaldo approach.
I prefer it when they take off their shirt
Given what Claude is saying now it seems that this situation has been a big festering boil behind the scenes since the beginning of the season. Could explain a lot, especially the exclusion from the European games.
