šŸ“½ Films I have seen

ok?

I watched Brooklyn the other week. Maybe would be classed as ā€œchic flickā€ but about a young Irish woman moving to New York in the 1950s. I quite enjoyed it.

also watched Lilting which is about a Cambodian woman in a older persons home and her son has recently died. She was not aware that he was gay and his partner tries to build a relationship. Some subtitles. Great film.

That sounds like a movie designed to repel bears. The only thing missing is an original soundtrack by Peter Andre.

It’s weird that they didn’t subtitle the whole film. Is it easy to follow in the bits without subtitles?

Timbuktu. About the affect of Islamists on daily life (and beyond) in Mali. I’m not going to review as I don’t do that well. It was interesting though and worth watching.

Not for Bears as you need to be able to read for this one.

Green Room. Fucking superb. Suspenseful, well acted and wickedly funny. Go see it!

Will do. It’s had great reviews.

Angry Birds - it was an OK way to spend an hour. Few jokes for the adults a couple of which were actually really funny. My 3 year old loved it and always nice to see him laugh.

The Man from UNCLE is a better film than my sources led me to expect. I rather enjoyed it. I recommend it to Bros.

Zootropolis with mini Abandon - sassy, witty and a good message - recommend for those with kids 8-50

yeah i thought that one was gd too, gay.

In other news, I’ve watched the film Spy (2015) three times now. It’s not art or whatever, but it’s a v.likeable film. It’s similar in tone to that True Lies film, except without the spank scene where Jamie Lee Curtis Strips Off.

Cut Bank

Should be on Satellite now.

Liam Hemsworth acting and John Malkovich being himself as usual.

A classic old fashioned thriller, following a trail of unintended consequences set in a Mid West no hope town where nothing ever happens

Even a moment that pays some kind of homage to Psycho.

ā€œI want my Parcel.ā€

Really good entertainment, yes you think you can get the storyline/twist after about 10 minutes. Anything else I say would be spoilers.

Low Budget well written, I’d say half as good as a True Detective episode Bear

Watched ā€˜Ali’ again the other day. Seen it a few times before. Will Smith plays Ali brilliantly. Had to watch it again for obvious reasons…

Rambo on itv4, now. It’s the story of a man who is a cross between bear grylls and John Travolta. He is doing some sort of sponsored walk around America and then gets in trouble with the local cops. Then it all goes a bit crazy and looks like a war film set in Vietnam. Rambo has to camp out a bit and eats a wild pig. Not sure how believable it is but it has passed the time.

What is the film where the bird from Casino Royale does a Striptease to the theme tune of ITVs EURO2016 coverage?

I have Remembered now, but I will leave it out there to see which bros know movies. Gd film. Gd Tits. Everytime I hear that song I get boner.

No-one says ā€œthundercuntā€ in True Lies, Bear - unless Arnie tried and failed miserably, like.

true, but still Spy is gd movie tho. I thought Jason Statham was Hilarious.
