48 teams so teams are seeded into top 16 and the rest and you pay £10 for a guaranteed top 16 side plus 2 also rans

In addition to the main prize (no second or third as who remembers these anyway :wink:) there is a spot £2 if one of your also rans beats a top 8 ranked side

I wasn’t as quick as some as we’ve been queueing on the M27 heading towards Cadnam. By the time we reached the intended hostelry the car park was fuckin’ full of Grockles so we made a diversion to The Compass Inn where we were greeted by the news that the chef had unexpectedly taken the day off…hopefully the cunt was stuck in the traffic heading for Bournemouth.

I chose a pint of 6x and Lady Slowlane a half of Inches. For food we made the short diversion to Carlo’s Ices.

I have just organised a sweepstake like this onboard and the interest is much better than the normal type as the odds are better and you would expect every body to be involved up to the last 32/16 pick up has been good
