Fans? Who needs fans at matches?

According to the following article 10 Premier League clubs, including our very own, don’t actually need fans at the games to turn over a profit.

Interesting but did that only take into account ticket sales? If merchandise/food/beer are included I’m sure that would put a dent in those figures too.

What is interesting is that most of those places have a modest stadium and/or a fairly shit team. Spurs are the only top four club among them lot, and the only team expanding their stadium right now.

Mind you, they spent fuck all this year. I think even Arsenal managed that when moving from Highbury.

So if they don’t need us why not drop the prices to get full houses?

Also what happened to the twenty is plenty campaign? I certainly paid more for my Palace ticket.

Money grabbing bastards.

You answered your own question at the end Cob😁

Now now. @saintbletch would never be picked out in a crowd. Apart from the shirts, he’s utterly generic.

I say this as a man that has unsuccessfully tried to find a bald friend at a festival.
