Last played Grimsby in 3rd rd 77/78. 0-0 there (Couldn’t go). Replay 0-0 again (shite) and then a 2nd replay at Filbert Street, Leicester on a Monday night in pissing rain. Several rucks with the locals and a 4-1 win.

Recently, when banging on about himself and the time he won the Champions League and World Cup with Luton, Nathan Jones said something along the lines of “you’ll see how good a side I built at Luton in about a month”. Implying that Luton would beat Grimsby and we’d be facing Luton in the FA Cup.
So we can chalk that up as another thing he has gotten horribly wrong.
