Got to say this.
Kane injured
Maguire injured
Rice injured
Henderson injured
Grealish injured
Sterling not picked
Sancho injured
Stones slow to get back in City team.
Shaw slow to get back into Utd team
There may be others.
Basically for the 1st tournament in ages, we have a spine in that team who had breaks from playing.

We dont actually look knackered. Players aren’t breaking (yet)

This is all very strange

We might win this - our squad depth is daft

Shall we set up a petition to make this the unofficial Engerland national anthem?

Bloody hell. I expected us to win, but I wasn’t expecting that. And I know the commentators all said it, but Shaw was fucking superb. Plenty of other fine performances, but he stood out - as he has generally. His cross for the third goal was a thing of beauty. He’s overcome a shit ton of shit to be where he is right now, and I can only have the utmost respect for that.

England? Reaching the semi-finals in consecutive tournaments? Blimey.

Shaw has a small but vital role in the first goal too. His run to the outside draws two defenders and opens up the space for Sterling.

Made in Southampton!
