you understand that only one team can win? This isn’t a primary school sports day.
Really??? Oh fuck.

So the Ayatollah and I have a bet. We each chose two teams to win the Cup and loser has to do 100 press ups. She chose Italy and Spain. I picked Germany and France. I have a good feeling about this.

HEY HEY HEY…WTF!!
You mean England have more than an outside chance of winning…Gulp…Nothing???
bah, Toby just scored
Toby!
1-0 Belgium
Poor marking there. Belgiums kit is cool.
That should have read
Spain
England
not Italy.
But the first part has come in.
And the Argies never helped my beer fund again.
Fucking Argies ruined my bet.
I’ll leave today’s games.
When the fun stops, stop!! Mind you even I would have expected Argentina to beat Chile. 18 shots only 3 on target compared to Chile’s 4 shots (2 on target!!)
I had a whole £1 on it!
That’s big bucks for me.

Agreed, it’s a great looking kit…I really like their other one too!

It’s done in homage to the Belgium national cycle racing jersey, the number 1 sport in Belgium.
Well if he sucks against this lot then that should the end of the his international career (hodgson and sterling)
I would maybe have done it the other ay around, Nivea Boy’s ticker only lasts 60 minutes doesn’t it??
Agree totally. Lallana for his usual 70mins and then Sterling.
ridiculous decision given how poor sterling has been and that Lallana had actually been pretty good.
Are you really surprised given that it’s Woy in charge??
no, I’m not surprised. Just saying its a ridiculous decision. I suppose the argument is that they’ll sit back and that Sterling has pace to get in behind them. Problem is he hasn’t managed to run fast with a ball or been able to cross the ball so far this tournament.
