I asked you the question of what was incorrect in his statement?
Scaremongering to answer (I think this may have been your question but they are never asked directly on here) is woeful on both sides and yes he should be brought to account for it as well, is that clear enough for you?
If he was entitled to it, why shouldn’t he. Does it make him a hypocrite, probably, but no more that a front bench politician calling for a 50p tax rate but happily paying the prevailing rate.
If he shouldn’t claim the subsidy then maybe the high tax proponants should voluntarily pay over some more tax.
So does anyone give a shit about 400 second rate european footballers having to actually be good enough to get a work permit before they are allowed to play here if we Brexit?
I think the idea that you should be tied to the lump of rock you were born on is utterly bizarre. National borders are arbitary lines drawn on the planet. They are ultimately meaningless. So yeah, whilst not limited strictly to football, I do give a shit about someone saying you were born there, stay there. Which in reality means, you were born into a worse off country, you don’t deserve access to a better life.
The World would fall into chaos in days, the poorer nations would be bought up by the richer ones, the poorest people would flood the richest ones making them in turn poorer, I’m all for a fair society but it is not a race to the bottom, democracy in all nations and repsected elections are the first pillar of progressive society.
The Government is to spend nearly £10 million of taxpayers’ money sending leaflets to every household in the country to make the case for Britain to stay in the European Union.
In a move described by leave campaigners as “disgraceful”, Downing Street signed off on plans to spend £9.2m printing and distributing the 16 page glossy leaflet outlining the benefits of Britain’s continued EU membership.
The publication, which will start arriving on doorsteps next week, makes the case for why the Government believes that “voting to remain in the EU is the best decision for the UK”.
9m quid of taxpayer cash on the Remain campaign. As I said before, making my own decision and not trying to sway anyone else, but that is some fairly sharp practice, which could backfire.
Well the Dutch stuck two fingers up at the EU yesterday - The Dutch government are not bound by the vote, but would be daft to ignore it. The EU will no doubt suggest that the Dutch have another vote because they got the last one wrong.

The govt is allowed to take a stance on referendum’s, it’s not required to remain neutral. Same as every other referendum that has taken place in this country.
Tax payer money was spent on maintaining FPTP, No to Scoxit etc.
Nigel. You raging hypocrite. There was a European referendum in Holland yesterday, which was quite different to ours. But the result did give the EU a bit of a bloody nose by rejecting a new treaty with Ukraine.
Nigel Farage loves referendums. He has spent rather a long time campaigning to have one in the UK. And so he went to Holland to campaign – because he really hates the EU. Oh, and he kind of likes Putin.
Hang on a second. Isn’t this the same Nigel Farage who wrote a grandiose letter to Barack Obama telling him to butt out of the UK’s referendum? Why, yes it is. Naughty Nigel said “it is imperative that the question of exiting the European Union is not one answered by foreign politicians”.
The best thing that could happen for the out campaign, is a promise from Farage that he would retire from politics if they won. That alone would be worth an out vote.
