So because Epstein had accounts at JP Morgan and allowed him to withdraw his own cash from those accounts - they have liability?
On the face of it, it looks like a classic US legal shake down - identify someone with deep pockets and a reputation to protect and attack
Unless there is a smoking gun somewhere and JPM have decided that $300m is a cheap price to bury it for good
