🚸 Epstein

Hmm, wonder how the Royals are going to handle this. Out of court settlement? Tunnel accident?

It’s an interesting one. An out of court settlement would be difficult, as it would rather dent the Royal Nonce’s emphatic denials of any wrongdoing (or indeed any knowledge, Biblical or otherwise, of Ms Roberts-Giuffre. On the other hand, a trip to court won’t work so well for him either, as there’d pretty certainly be a ton of shit to come out there.

But for the royal family more generally I doubt there’ll be any repercussions. Seems to me like they’ve pretty much washed their hands of him.

Certainly would, if it were public knowledge. However, a few untraceable millions in their back pockets might shut them up for a while, especially if the bung carried a non-disclosure clause.

Do members of the royal family have diplomatic immunity?

Can he be compelled to go to the US? Can he be extradited?

He could try the ā€œI am sovereignā€ defence - its almost true.

May be if the yanks hand over that hit and run woman, they can have Andrew.

Not a lawyer but I always believed you needed to serve papers to the actual person named.
Not the Tea Lady/Door Opener.

I had to look it up but it seems you can

All a bit grey.
And all very UK specific.
Good legal team could tie that up for a few years

And all before 500 year old laws are used to apply for immunity and argued, let alone servers having unfortunate car accidents

I find myself switching half of Russell Brand’s videos off. He’s pretty spot on with this one.

Move along. Nothing to see here.

It’s a chore putting up these Christmas decorations.

But like Jeffrey Epstein, they won’t hang themselves.
