The longer it went on today the easier it looked for Sibley. Still learning and that could be start of big improvement as his confidence grows. Liked way he made a slight tweak to his batting as well.

yes we could have a large pool of batsmen and bowlers to select the team from
I thought he batted well too, and Bess and Leach bowled very well. Confidence will be high after this series win, and I think we have every chance in India. It would appear the slight tweak to his batting you mentioned can probably be put down to Jacques Kallis who has been the batting consultant on this tour. Both Sibley and Joe Root have been singing his praises today, surely no coincidence that Root has rediscovered his form on this tour. Yet England have decided to replace Kallis with Jonathan Trott for the India tour. Strange decision.

Really forward to this series, it’ll be tough and I can’t see us getting too much but it’ll be a real battle between two good sides.
Pint says you’ll be “off on one” about our spinners before 1st Test is over.

To be honest I’m more worried about the Indian pace attack than their spinners, Bumrah is a very good pace bowler…

I think if its a wicket for pace then we have a far better chance of getting a good score in one innings at least per match, that gives us a chance, if its a spinning wicket all 5 days I am not so sure.
