India 52-1 second innings, Lead by a fuck ton
The way he bowled in the last test, India would have got 450.
So.
That’s why Mike Dean wanted this weekend off…
#var umpire
No updates from @dinger this morning, has he, much like the England bowlers, given up on this test?
And I say that Ashwin is bowled by Stone for 106
India 286 all out, Lead by 481 runs
4 off the first bowl stay in for 2 1/4 days and we could win this
Lucky to make it to lunch tomorrow
Sibley gone for 3, faster ball that stayed straight, plumb LBW
17-1
Might be all over before close of play today then…
Whos left in the womens tennis I can look at ?
59-3, stumps.
Leach in for night watchman lasted 1 ball, so Root came in and survived a very close LBW call…
Text of the morning on bbc:
“At least England improved on their first-innings score, whereas India didn’t. Momentum surely with us going into the next match.”
Don’t know why we bother with the last two tests. Just have the toss, since that settles the result.
Unfortunately (or not, depending on your view) returning to work after 2 weeks on leave has curtailed my semi-nocturnal cricket watching. Although I’m not too sad about missing England’s collapse.
A double headed Rupee and we have the call?
Some surprising results at the IPL auction. Mo Ali was the subject of a bidding war and went for 700k to Chennai Super Kings. Dawid Malan went for 148k, Tom Curran 520k, Steve Smith to Delhi Capitals for just 220k, less than a third of what Ali is getting. Alex Hales, Jason Roy, Sam Billings, Adil Rashid and Reece Topley all went unsold.
And Chris Morris is a record overseas purchase, which I find absolutely amazing. Good player, but nothing special.
I guess he has Jorge Mendes as his agent, although he might have signed for Wolves instead.
I’m a bit surprised Adil Rashid went unsold. Leggies always do well at the IPL and he’s not the worst batsman in the world.
