326 all out

Final batsmen given out, on review, thumbing the ball to the keeper.

Broad and Archer finish with 3 wickets each.

4-1 Burns given out LBW on review, great start by Pakistan…

We have to be honest, our batting line up is shit.

Bunch of hairdressers Bazza?

No they’re simply not good enough, not all of them, Stokes is amazing and the best at what he does, Root has gone downhill but still top 10, the others? We’ve struggled to consistently get past 300 for years when we need to.

As I was saying…

12-3 Stokes plays all around a ball and gets castled without troubling the scorers.

We’re in deep doggy do do

Doubt if we’ll make the follow on…

To be fair that was a very good ball…

We can’t cope with genuine pace and movement, that bowling is class and we can’t do that on our own wickets, that says an awful lot about bias in the media to how good or bad we are, we’re good but we can’t do that.
I can’t wait to see the opinions of Anderson and Woakes on this as they struggled to move the ball, they’re swinging it with ease.

The more you look at that line up and see weakness in the batting,
Stokes should be 6 and Buttler 7, Pope, Burns and Sibley? Fuck me the more I think about it the more depressing it is as the Ashes and India away.
Why can’t we produce good batsmen on our own wickets? Nevermind away wickets on our own.

Root gone for 14, thinnest of edges trying to cut a ball spinning away from him

62-4

Vaughan roasting England and rightly so, he is basically saying we’re miles off being the number one side in the World and the Indians and Aussies will blow us away if we’re at this standard, well we were blown away by a side supposedly weaker.

Gets home.
Checks score.

Poor batting or good bowling?

117-4 they haven’t exactly piled on the runs this morning

A bit of both, I’d swap their attack for ours, how old are they?

That was a tremendous delivery.

Warne putting Ward in his place over batting and I agree, Ward saying the batting is deeper with all rounders and Warne saying why in England are you classed as an all rounder if you bowl but can bat a bit, thats what it is, you’re a bowler who can bat a bit not an all rounder.

Absolutely agree with that. Stokes is the only genuine all rounder in our side, and with his ongoing injury problem his bowling must be in doubt. At the start of his career Broad had the potential to be an all rounder, I believe he started as an opening bat, but since having his teeth rearranged he struggles with the bat, apart from the occasional cameo as in the last Test.
