Well the end of season event (part one) certainly matched the end of season by the team today. A few spirited and reliable performers tried hard to lift the overall performance, but alas it was not to be. Too many of the team were missing when needed, or seemed disinterested, perhaps thinking of fresh pastures ahead 
Thanks to SO5, Fowllyd, Pap (plus mate) and Ant for turning out. Until Part two, or the Rose Bowl, or whenever, when we will go again.
It was a smaller crowd to be sure, and it did not seem the same without @goatboy (even with a same name replacement). Enjoyed the beers as always.
Yesterday I had to put up with the Poole Seven Seas Festival in the Morning and the Poole Boat Show in the evening, this was pleasently bifurcated by 4 hours spent on the beach with my children.
I watched the match on delay at about 20:00 last night, up until the point Crouch scored, then I jumped to the end of the match as I assumed we’d not score, meantime I raised a couple of cans of Hobglobin to you guys and wished I was there.
I had a quid on Crouch to score at any time.
I didn’t collect my winnings.
FFS Pap, that could have paid my Bar Bill next time I get back.
Things are looking up for next season as I prepare to move from being a 5th rate mobile app developer to International Man of Mystery and Air Miles
