So they found the plane and the body was Sala

The media are now saying that whilst tragic, it will at least give the family closure etc etc

Any thought for the pilot? Its as if the media have assumed Sala flew the fucking plane himself

I agree re the pilot, he seems to have been forgotten or at very least been treated as the ‘Sherpa Tensing’ of the tragedy (for younger folks, its only in the last 10 years or so that it has become ‘Hillary and Tensing’ as the first to reach the summit and return… )

OK he was a prospective employee of a local company but isn’t this a little too “worthy”…sad but people are out there every day dying tragic deaths.

Good. For all the noise they made about ‘Sala being a Cardiff player’ and milking the sympathy, just to then try and weasel out of paying his transfer fee was disgusting. I’m glad FIFA has ruled in favour of Nantes.

Just seems completely unnecessary. Don’t clubs spend a lot of money insuring themselves against this sort of contingency?

Cardiff will never live it down. Swansea will make sure everyone remembers.
