I’m very proud of the lads today. They played brilliantly at times. We were genuinely unlucky, hitting the post and had a few great chances.
Both fullbacks were great, as was JWP and obviously Gabbiadini looks a brilliant addition.
The disallowed goal was not bad luck, it was bad officiating. Simple as that. The sort of biased bullshit decision that would never have gone against Utd in the same context. It wasn’t even close. If the linesman cannot distinguish the difference between Bertrand and Gabbiadini then he needs a good slapping.
But unfortunately our weaknesses have been exploited today.
Forster’s flat footedness and Stephens inexperience/positioning have ultimately cost us.
Can’t help but wonder what might have been had VVD been playing.

At least spud face granny fucker didn’t get a game. For some reason that makes me feel better…not much, but a little better.
Great game, not sure I would place the blame on Stephens, if Yoshida had not stuck his leg out or ran at Lingard he would have blocked the second goal. However he was brilliant the rest of the game. It’s a shame we lost, but we made them look ordinary for most of the match.

Really mixed emotions at the moment, gutted that we lost but most of all PROUD AS FUCK !!
We were the better team all game and would of won if it wasn’t for the greatest player and in the world and a cunting inept linesman.
