Iāve watched a fair few too. Heās a very good interviewer with a sharp mind. Being a big fan of Robert Mitchum I really enjoyed that interview.
They lost me at Barefoot wine
Thought it was a lot better than most of the shit on TV. Plus itās nice seeing Matthew Broderick again.
So this could just as easily go in the Podcasts thread, but itās best suited here.
Alexei Sayle talking to Stewart Lee. Iāve heard Alexei go a bit Roboscouse on other podcasts, where he starts saying āyer knowā a lot (itās a thing).
Not a bit of it here. A warm chat between two people I like a lot, and itās clear they like each other a lot too.
Not so much Owen Jones, who is a bit of a weathervane.
Robert Lindsay is fantastic though.
Best story. He and Nicholas Lyndhurst are leaving a venue together. Someone shouts from a car āPower to the Peopleā at Lindsay before shouting āPlonker!ā at Lyndhurst.
Both making their names from shows by the same creator, Lyndhurst says āI like your catch-phrase betterā
Lindsay is pure quality in Electric Ink.
