Digging Out Old Holiday Pictures

I think we’ve all got these lurking in the attic, stacks of them, fading, curling and in most cases hopefully never to be seen again.

This one emerged from a pile of prints I was thumbing through the other day so I scanned it and put it on my FB page. It’s drawn a few comments from my American friends one who said, “Hey I was there last Friday”

As you can see it wasn’t a mainstream tourist trap back in November 1981 when this picture was taken, just an old mining town that died in the late 1930s and a handsome young man with his camera.

That’s as old as I get the ex chucked everything pre Dubai in the bin just before the divorce! Others have kids, Mrs P_F & phone a friend in them
