I’m not sure what we’re arguing about here. What do you think should have been done that wasn’t? Or shouldn’t have been done that was? Obviously it’s very sad indeed when anyone takes their own life, but its happened before, and it will happen again. Are you particularly exercised about this specific instance, for some reason?

I deliberately included those exceptions because:-
- I don’t think they count
- It narrows the definition of “common assault” to twatting someone as an adult without provocation.
