Another funeral

Quite liked watching Breakfast when I actually bothered watching live TV. Now only see it in hotels if away on businesses.

Hilary Mantel, author of the Wolf Hall trilogy of historical novels about the life of Thomas Cromwell, has died at the age of 70. She’ll probably be remembered mostly for these three books, but even so that’s still a pretty formidable body of work.

Odd as I thought that could be stated only as part of the cause.

A bit of googling and the govt says:

Yep she was in good health…but old.
Job done. :lou_eyes_to_sky:

More likely due to the G&Ts

You’ve been listening to this, haven’t you :smile:

Piotr was the eldest Son of Mrs P_F’s Godmother.
He was like a brother to her & God Bless him saved me from too much dancing with Mrs P_F to shit Disco polo music at our Wedding (my shoes were too small I was bleeding before the party even started!)
So I do remember him as the smiley Polish Guy - a very rare breed.
We did the wave hands & sign language thing on a number of occasions after. He was a guy I’d have liked to know if I could only speak this Godforsaken language.
I’m now sad. And another day in October with no income just costs for fuel & tolls

We were shocked to find last week our long time friend Laura’s husband Dave passed away when we were on holiday last month. Dave was Laura’s second husband. Laura’s first husband Pete died of Bowell Cancer 18 years ago…so did Dave last month.

Fuck Cancer. :rage:
