I fell off of my push bike the other day, a fox ran out in front of me, I swerved to avoid it, hit the kerb and went flying. I’m glad I was wearing my cycle helmet.
My shoulder is fucked where I went down with my arm extended though…

But was the fox alright?
Meat Loaf has left us.
Michael Lee Aday has finally reached paradise by the dashboard light…
I think 74 is a good innings for him.
Rock and roll lifestyle. Carried weight all his adult life.
Bit gutted about this one regardless. The man seemed to be ubiquitous on British telly when I was a kid.
Vot a guy
Makes you cry
Und I did
That’s my favourite song on the soundtrack. I’m something of a mimic singer. Love doing the “unt I did” bit.
Great soundtrack, that.
My personal favourite of his songs in general is one that doesn’t seem to get much airplay, Midnight at the lost and found. I saw him years ago at Bristol, was a bit disappointed that they didn’t perform it.
Great voice in his prime. Saw him a few times.
The man had range.
Bit gutted about this - awesome voice, awesome guy.
It was this kind of thing I used to love about him - how to out do Lee Francis:
I think there was a similar one with Dennis Pennis years ago, but can’t seem to find that one.
Saw him in concert in the car park of the old Hilton Beach hotel a short walk from my old villa in the sandpit.
Just a brilliant performance and such a great sing-a-long.
RIP
The best, full track, is Paradise by the Dashboard Light.
And then there Martha on Welcome to the Neighbourhood and Life is a Lemon and I Want my Money Back.
I saw him at the BIC, great showman…
He did a concert at Brixton Academy in 85 that was filmed for video release. My back view can be seen under the credits at the end of the concert.
Name drop badge!
Not a single name was dropped Phil.
A ball was, though
My Dad.
Bless them
