A true great.
Everyone’s favourite degree has graduated through the Pearly Gates
2022 has taken it’s first big scalp.
Surely 2021’s last act?
It will have been 2022 somewhere
Sidney Poitier. 94. Not quite a century, but he had a hell of a run. Pioneer.
Always liked him.
He was superb in Training Day & The Equalizer.
Legend
Denzel Washington isn’t dead, Phil.
Jesus, Bletch is never coming back.
And another one that isn’t Denzil.
Bit late to this, but I also enjoyed watching him in Sneakers. A fairly lightweight comedy thriller, showing another side to Poitier
What, like many actors he’d act in any old shit to get a pay check?
Sad.
Just breaks into MCU & dies because he wasnt wearing a crash helmet while skiing
This is where I’m going in Feb.
Not wearing a helmet is mental.
Bit like the lead Texas anti-vaxer who caught Covid and died.
Yep - I learnt to ski without one and then I went to Whistler a couple years after that film star died. The Ayatollah and I were the only people not wearing one
I lasted two days of tutting and snide remarks before I succumbed and bought one, the following day I wiped out in spectacular cartwheeling style and cracked my bonce.
Wouldnt ski without one now
