He lost the title to Horace Notice. The year before I played in a Cup semi final against an Army team and they brought him on as sub and he nearly killed me in our first aerial duel.

I didn’t know he was Canadian. I must have seen him on the screen dozens of times but the only roles I remember are Sound of Music, Battle of Britain and Waterloo.
