I think the response is mainly being driven by Government fear of being seen to drop the ball as they did over the delta variant (remember not shutting down flights from India). IF omicron proves to be no major threat I hope the restrictions will be removed very quickly.

Speaking to a woman this morning walking our dogs, she recounted the outcome of her booster jab. Sat for the required recovery time of 15 minutes and then returned to her car. Felt a little woozy as she negotiated the car park and drove straight into a lampost at the exit.

Had my booster on Sunday … arm still feels like it’s been twatted with a length of 2 by 4. Nothing for my 1st 2 jabs but this one’s a bitch. 1st 2 were AZ but the booster is Moderna.
